The Office of Research and Faculty Development This is the single most important site related to research at the University of Oregon and provides extensive support for faculty seeking external funding. This site also lists UO Research Center and Institute contacts.
The Office of Research Services and Administration (ORSA) The UO Office of Research Services and Administration (ORSA) works with the University community to provide services in two main areas:
1) Proposal Preparation and Clearance --from application materials and budget assistance, to final review, official endorsement, and submission of proposals to funding agencies, public and private, for support of research, instruction, and public service projects.
2) Grant and Contract Administration --from inception by review and acceptance of awards and account set up, through the award's administration, financial reporting, and final closeout.
The Oregon Sea Grant Program invites preliminary proposals for research on important marine and coastal issues from researchers who are affiliated with any institution of higher education in Oregon.
Proposals will be entered into a highly competitive review and selection process. Proposed work may begin on either February 1, 2010, or February 1, 2011.
