As you may have seen in last week’s Around the O, registration is now open for the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs’ winter workshops and trainings.

In addition to informing you of opportunities available for faculty and staff, we would like to draw your attention to the trainings available for unit heads. The unit heads training series is designed for academic and research leadership, and is produced in partnership with Human Resources, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, and the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration.

Feb. 9 — CoDaC Winter Quarter Luncheon Workshop on Teaching Evaluations

Feb. 14 — Promotion & Tenure for Candidates Who Will Undergo Review (Note: This workshop has been rescheduled from Jan. 17.)

Feb. 21 — Unit Heads Training - Q&A with the Business Bunch

Feb. 23 — Preparing the TTF and NTTF Promotion & Tenure File for Unit Heads, Office Managers and Staff

March 9 — Unit Heads Training - Mid-Term/Third-year Pre-tenure Review

March 16 — Unit Heads Training – Nuts and Bolts of Departmental Personnel Actions
