Nominations for Williams Fellows & Distinguished Teaching Awards

January 24, 2018

Dear Colleagues,

Are there faculty members in your unit who exemplify inclusive, engaged and research-led teaching?

Join us in recognizing their efforts by nominating those exceptional faculty who uphold these tenets of teaching excellence.

The Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs is accepting nominations for the following honors:

Williams Fellows – With a mission to support to enhance the quality of undergraduate education, the Williams Fund has been rewarding faculty innovation at the university for nearly two decades. Nominate your innovative undergraduate instructors no later than February 1.

The Distinguished Teaching Awards – The university’s highest teaching honors, this suite of awards recognizes early-career and senior faculty members who demonstrate excellence in the classroom. Special awards are given for exceptional online instruction and pedagogical innovation. Nominations for these prestigious awards are due by February 9.

The University of Oregon’s outstanding educators are key to the success of our students. Thank you for helping us recognize their important contribution.

Best wishes,

Scott & Sierra
