Accelerated Promotion and Tenure

Accelerated promotion and/or tenure review is the normal promotion and tenure review process but accelerated. It is for special cases -- typically for new senior faculty hires -- if they do not qualify for expedited review. This typically means gathering materials off-cycle for the candidate and then prioritizing those materials for rapid review to meet the notification date specified in the offer letter.
