Promotion and/or tenure process for TTF and NTTF

October 19, 2016

Dear Colleagues,

As most of you know, all promotion and/or tenure (P&T) cases for both tenure-track (TTF) and non-tenure-track faculty (NTTF) are to be submitted electronically. To support preparation of digital dossiers, fillable PDF portfolios for TTF and NTTF dossiers are available for the 2017 promotion cycle. We have also created a PDF portfolio for the supplementary file; this file may be used for both TTF and NTTF cases. Recognizing that some materials may not be conveniently available in digital form, provision of some or all supplementary materials in print form is still permissible.

The digital files are available on the Academic Affairs website, along with details on the preparation of TTF and NTTF dossiers, general timelines, and a guidance document on how to construct the file using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

When promotion dossiers are ready for final review, we ask that the files be provided on a USB drive and delivered in person. All P&T dossiers and instructional NTTF promotion dossiers are to be delivered to Pam Palanuk in the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs, 207 Johnson Hall. New this year, all research NTTF promotion dossiers are to be delivered to Bryan Evans in the Office for Research and Innovation, 203 Johnson Hall.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you,

Susan, Doug, Ken, and Moira
